These service fees apply to families accessing services through NDIS funding as self-managed or plan managed - rates are set by NDIS.
Rate is stipulated by NDIS for clients that have been pre-approved for this government funding.
90min duration billed at the hourly rate of $193.99
60min standard session which includes 45-50min therapy time with child and the remaining time for preparation/clean up and documentation.
*Please note: Should your child require an extended session, or exceed the scheduled session by 15min or more, additional charges will apply at a pro-rata hourly rate.
Any necessary time spent on your child's therapeutic development outside of the direct sessions will be charged at the pro-rata hourly rate. Examples include phone calls/emails over 15 minutes, resource development, letters/reports, care team meetings, travel to/from community-based appointments

Medicare Rebates - Medicare rebates are available for psychological therapies provided by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker for individuals with a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. Rebates apply to up to 10 sessions per calendar year under the Better Access Initiative, and a GP referral is required.
Private Health Insurance Rebates - some funds offer rebates for services provided by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Please enquire with your specific fund for more information.
Children may be eligible to access therapy services through various third-party funding sources.
Funding bodies, such as Child Protection, Victims of Crime, community organisations, or other funding services, are welcome to contact Playful Minds Therapy to discuss individualised therapy plans that align with a child's funding goals, support needs and funding available.
